Kim’s referee career spanned 22 years, culminating in her appointment to the FIFA International Panel of Referees in 2005. During her career, she refereed in domestic men’s and women’s professional leagues from 1997 until 2007 and was appointed to 26 international matches before she retired.
In ‘retirement,’ she serves the game as a U.S.S.F. National Referee Coach, as well as having served as a Professional Referee Organization (PRO) Referee Coach, and as Referee Assessor at CONCACAF U20 and U17 Women’s Championships in Guatemala and Grenada.
Kim is also a member of the U.S. Soccer Referee Committee. In 2020, she was inducted into the North Carolina Soccer Hall of Fame.
Alan is a former FIFA Referee from the Republic of Ireland. He has officiated primarily in the Munster Senior League, the League of Ireland and Major League Soccer and was first appointed to the FIFA list in 2002. He has been regarded as Ireland’s top referee for the last number of years.
In 2016, Kelly was named Major League Soccer’s Referee of the Year and was selected to referee the MLS Cup between Toronto FC and Seattle Sounders FC. The game ended 0-0 a.e.t, with Seattle defeating Toronto 5-4 in Kicks from the Mark (KFTM).
In December 2018, Kelly refereed his second MLS Cup Final at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Atlanta where Atlanta United defeated Portland Timbers 2-0 in front of 73,000 spectators.
During his time in MLS, Kelly has been voted the Major League Soccer Referee of the Year in 2015, 2016 and 2018. The award is voted for by Players, Coaches and Media Personnel.
The event is at DoubleTree in Bristol. The preliminary agenda is Saturday March 4 from 9am – 4:00pm. Lunch on Saturday will be provided at the hotel. Sunday March 5 from 9am – 12:30pm. (Although this as a two-day event, staying at the hotel overnight is not required).
Scott is a National Referee Coach with US Soccer, and was a PRO Assistant Referee from 2012 – 2017. He was also assigned to the XXV Dallas Cup Final, as well as the US Armed Forces Championship match. Scott will be talking about Managing Coaches and Spectators Sunday morning.
