Due to the ongoing concerns with respect to the spread of COVID-19 in confined spaces, the Connecticut State Referee Program has decided it is prudent to switch from in-person clinics to virtual clinics (an interactive session held optimally on your computer or tablet).

Referee Recertification

RECERTIFICATION for the officiating year 2021 is currently OPEN!!!

Recertification will be done 100% On-Line; there will be no in-class Recertification Clinics.

Logon to your eReferee account to Recertify.

It is imperative that you READ the document "2021 Recertification Information" before you proceed with the Recertification Process!!!

Certification and Recertification Requirements

Below are the US Soccer documents on Certification and Recertification requirements that went in effect July 1, 2019.

Past Grade 8 and Grade 7 Referees will follow the Grass Roots reuirements and State Referees will follow the Regional Referee Requirements.

The Fitness Test is a mandatory component of Certification and Recertification for "Regional Referees" and optional for Grass Roots Referees and Emeritus Referees.
