Entry Level Referee Training Information


Grade 8 Referee - Entry Level Training is currently CLOSED for registration.

The Entry Level Training Process is a combination of an On-Line Training Course to be completed at your own pace and registration and attendance of (1) in-person/in-class session of 5 hours.

The registration for the online portion of Session #1 is open through 8/31/2017 with the required in-person classes starting approximately August 5th and ending on September 10th.

The 2nd Entry Level Training session registration and access to the online modules will open 1/15/18 and will close 3/18/18. Once the online modules are complete you will register for and attend one required "in-person class" The 2nd session's required "in-person class" will start 1/28/18 and run through 4/2/18.

At least one "in-person" session will be available on a first come first serve basis almost every weekend somewhere in the state in that time period.

Entry Level Training for 2017 will be presented in (2) sessions:

All On-Line Modules must be completed to enable registration for the last Field Training Session or In-Class review of Laws 5, 6, 11 and 12 as posted in the CSRP Event Calendar.

All Entry Level Training requirements (On-Line Modules, Field Training Session and In-Class review of Laws 5, 6, 11 and 12) must be completed before the close of either Entry Level Training Session # 1 (Fall) or Entry Level Training Session # 2 (Spring) to be certified to officiate.

Referee Recertification Information


Recertification for the officiating year 2018 is currently OPEN !!!

The Recertification Process for the officiating year 2017 will close
November 30, 2016

Recertification will be done 100% On-Line;
there will be no in-class Recertification Clinics.

It is imperative that you READ the document
"2018 Recertification Information"
before you proceed with the Recertification Process!!!

The following pricing tier will apply for All Referee Grade levels:

1) If you Recertify in the month of July till August 31 you will save $10.00 on your Referee Recertification

2) If you Recertify from September 1 through October 31 you will pay the normal Recertification price (no discount will be offered)

3) If you Recertify in November you will pay $20.00 extra for your Referee Recertification

4) If you fail the Recertification written test two times and decide to take the Entry Level Course to be able to officiate in 2017 you will have to pay the FULL Entry Level Course fee

Fitness Requirements

The Fitness Test is a mandatory component of Certification and Recertification for Referee Grades 6, 5, 4, 3 and optional for Grades 8, Grade 7 and Emeritus.
